Connie Reece - Reece & Company

For more than 30 years Connie Reece has been writing for publication and consulting with companies and nonprofits on their marketing and communication needs. Connie is a co-founder of the Social Media Club, a global community for the users and creators of emerging media, and is the founder of EveryDotConnects, a consortium of marketing and media practitioners who are passionate about using new technologies to build bridges between people and ideas and causes. When a friend was diagnosed with breast cancer in late 2007, Connie created the Frozen Pea Fund, now incorporated as a nonprofit organization with the mission of funding breast cancer research, education and programs.

Connie is active in the virtual world Second Life and enjoys teleporting around the grid to attend events and get-togethers, or to spend some time relaxing at her oceanside villa. She has become a popular conference speaker and, working with fellow Every Dot Connects team members, has launched a series of hands-on workshops to teach the basics of popular Web 2.0 tools. A recent project has Connie helping build community around the microblogging service Plurk through a series of free “plurkshops,” online DIY workshops where participants discuss a topic in real time — peer-to-peer knowledge sharing at its best. Connie is also available for corporate speaking engagements or on-site training.

Kelsey Ruger - PopLabs

Kelsey Ruger is an accomplished software architect, designer and information architect who has lent his expertise to high profile Internet projects at Prodigy and SBC as well as a number of start-ups. Kelsey is currently the Director of Technology and Creative Services for Houston based Pop Labs where he is responsible for the company’s product development and creative services teams. Prior to joining Pop Labs, Kelsey was one of the youngest directors in the SBC Telecommunications family of companies, where he led the client development efforts for SBC Prodigy and SBC Internet. As SBC’s development lead he was vital in designing, planning and implementing the first SBC Yahoo Dial and DSL kits. Kelsey is passionate about creating a world where technology is transparent, simple and universally accessible to all people regardless of ability, and shares this passion on his personal blog The Moleskin.

Stephen P. Anderson

Stephen is the principal user experience architect at Sabre Travel Network, where he leads the design of travel products used by more than 50,000 travel agencies worldwide. He is passionate about elegant design and the technological innovations that make desirable experiences possible.

Prior to Sabre, Stephen helped build Bright Corner, a creative design and technology services company. There he worked with a variety of businesses to create valuable online and offline customer experiences, with a special focus on custom business applications. Stephen has worked on Web 2.0-style applications with small startups as well as larger usability and information architecture projects for enterprise clients such as Nokia, Frito-Lay and Chesapeake Energy. A former high school English teacher, Stephen brings a love for language and cognitive learning theories to the design profession.
